AN OPEN LETTER TO THE STUDENT UNION PRESIDENT, UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN, ILORIN
A good measure, Mr Akeukano Sulaiman Abiodun, a 300 level CIS student took to write out his few opinions about the Unilorin Students Union. Not only did he express out his honest opinions, he also askedsome questions which could be considered 'pressing' in his own terms. The above named student also known as Mr Pen also brought out some serious observations. Well Mr Pen, I really appreciate you writing out and not been lily-livered like many others.Mr Pen, you are an icon of emulation, you not only probed and made comments, you also praised the good deeds of the government. More wisdom, I pray for thee. After all you wrote, it is really surprising to get a feedback as quack, uneducated and non-constructive as that which came from the supposed Students Union President adviser on media and publicity. He not only regarded your points as been unreasonable, he also faulted its credibility after selling out the details on the letter.Perhaps, he should define what is called credibility. Regarding your letter with indecency, comparisons made using strong sensitive words and phrases like "idiot", "filled with emptiness" and nit-picking inconsequentialgrammatical errors deviating from the message behind the letter. Using dry and rude jokes like asking you to return to 100L to retake GNS111 only points out his childish, irresponsible and biased take on matters concerning the welfare ofthe students of the University of Ilorin.I, Oyinloye Paul Adedotun, a Senator of the "Better byfar" university. I regard the act of the Office of the S.AON MEDIA and PUBLICITY as unprofessional and mannerless. If all odds were for me, I would have demanded an apology for the unprofessionalism in your write-up and feedback. I so much hope you are not the S.A on media and publicity to the Better by far President and if it is so, then how do we trust this team if they can't portray a good personality of the media.Mr S.A on media and publicity, I hope you also learn proper lessons on Media and Publicity and stop bringing shame to your colleagues and Mr President, you can kindly reply the initial letter in its proper manner thereby honouring the voice of a bona fide student. Thanks for your anticipated response. On behalf of concerned students of The University of Ilorin
