The editorial board of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ilorin
Chapter hereby uses this medium to request for the submission of
comprehensive and well researched articles/ write ups, to be utilised for the
1st Edition of its magazine: "The Inquest".
The theme for the maiden edition is: 'Fostering the Course of Truth with the
Pen', and articles are expected to be on the following disciplines
*Economics
*Education
*Health
*Journalism
*Politics
*Tutorials
*Poems
*Science/Technology
*I.C.T
*Law and the Society
*Features on Personalities
*Youth related matters
*Religion
*Culture etc.
INSTRUCTIONS:
All entries must be in Microsoft word, typed using New Times Roman, 12
font size and 1.5 spacing.
Writer's name, department, and faculty should be clearly written. A pen
name is also allowed.
Pictures could be sent along side any article, if available.
All articles and news piece that will be sent on the above disciplines must
be valid and void of plagiarism

It is important that the articles are submitted as early as possible for due
consideration.
We humbly solicit the support and cooperation of all pen pushers, to
ensure the successful publishing of this maiden edition of the Union's
magazine, and we welcome your views, opinions and suggestions relating to
the magazine.
N.B: The right to correct, reject or accept any article solely lies with the
editorial board
The Deadline for the submission of all articles is Saturday, 30th APRIL
2016.
It must be emphasised that submission of articles for the maiden edition of
the UCJ magazine will be a historical one as it will be launched at a date to
be announced later during the union's annual press week programme.
What We Expect:
As pen pushers, our utmost priority is to shape the world with our pen so as
to make it a better place. In a bid to realise this, the UCJ UNILORIN is
offering us an opportunity to make this achievable. We therefore, urge us all
to submit our articles and also rebroadcast this BC to any available platform;
whatsapp pages, BBM Channels, Blog site, News boards, Facebook, twitter
and so on.
