HOPE FOR OUR DREAMS

Everyday we flip a page of our lives,
Everyday we mix through the feelings in our hearts,

Some pages, we wish to turn back to,
Cos of the memories we are driven back to,

While some pages, we just wanna tear off,
and wish those memories would easily wear off,

We look in the mirror and view our past with mixed feelings,
With happiness that knows no limit and sadness that needs quick healings,

Sometimes we act courageous by putting up a smile in times of pain,
While our happiness knows no bound when we are in favour of the game,

Sometimes we wish we could turn back the hands of time,
With fruitless efforts, we realize its a waste of time,

We try to put ourselves together and forget the past,
Leaving the past behind us and swimming with the tide,

We move on with life to see the journey ahead,
With every challenges in it, we are willing to accept,

It's been years or rather decades since we were born,
and every second tends to be a blessing or lesson in return,

Crossing life's hurdles, we seem somewhat closer,
But with every step closer, it just seem more harder,

Now we aren't getting any younger,
Yet, in achieving our goals, we don't seem closer,

While some still believe in the word HOPE,
Some on the other hand, just have little or no faith in it,

Now, only few still struggle to be what they want to become,
While the rest just shrugged to see what becomes of them.

Now...
Where do we belong???
Where do we stand??
Where is our childhood dream??
Where is our living purpose??
