Latest: One time NANS president confirmed dead
38-year-old former National President of the National Association of
Nigerian Students (NANS), Mr Dauda Mohammed has reportedly died after
a protracted illness.
The Announcement was made by the current NANS' President, Comrade
Chinonso Obasi, who said Mohammed died on Sunday in India where he had
gone for medical treatment.
The President said that the mail sent to him by Artemis Group of
Hospitals, Delhi, India indicated that Mohammed passed on five minutes
before landing at Delhi Airport.
Mohammed was NANS' President from 2011 to 2012; he attended the
University of Jos.
