POEM : "THE WORLD" IS A STAGE BY AKANNI W.G

The world is a stage,

And, everyone has exit and entry gate,

Whatever choice, one can't debate,

What is the role of fate?

Like a trader that runs out of cate,

Will he have something on his plate?

Heard of a king that's oust, 

Just like casts on the stage ,

Some will perfect their role and say,

Whilst others are fiasco; they receive blame as wage,

Illusion, soothsayers have no vivid image,

Even, the blind may grope away during the rampage,

When gift from theatre stage is like rage,

One assumes perils as the only page,

Silent louder world of many mysticism they're strange,

Engross to one page at a stage,

Moving to another age with another cage.

The burdens of world are like soil and water,

Man flows in it like Nile river,

Honey will come like a leaf that is bitter,

Laying down alone as a stranger,

How do we find the right pathway without any helper ?

Irony it holds; today, one is a teacher ,

Tomorrow comes, one as a listener ,

From inception, he's a father,

Age changes his position; he follows his wards as follower,

 Thousands of miles she does cover,

Human beings are not evergreen, she'll sit like mountain later,

It matters not, death can trade with him as a toddler ,

It leaves indolence ones and take the hustler ,

On earth, man is here as a trader,

At the dawn, we act like a buyer,

In the noon as a seller,

At night, we give account to the owner,

Will everyone reap what they sow as a sower ?

Many will see salvage,

Others will trade away like savage,

Freeze as iceberg, while some will be a damage ,

Only those with extant of courage,

Won't bend or see no discourage,

Some with rift, they'll move without any entourage,

Will any man settle for souring orange?

Until man accepts his fate, he'll be flying like a bird without plumage,

Read whatever that comes in your way,

The words that may come from sages;

 World we are , is full of incalculable massages.
