Omo Baba "Sola Guest Inn" from Esawe Compound of Ogbon Oguru, Igbajo Writes

 Now that everything has been laid low concerning the Owa of Igbajo Stool. Dropping all political approaches or schemes, I should reinstate that there is no loser or winner in the stool, it is all for the advancement and development of Igbajo town.

However, the attempt to politicise the throne started during the last administration. One @remiopakunle on X claimed Famodun was the sole candidate and his selection had been done since 2020 but he held on to it till 2022😂. A blatant lie from a toilet thought mind.

Famodun was privileged to serve as APC Chairman for over 8 years yet nothing significant in terms of development was brought into the town. The only thing we had to show as a reward for having our sons and daughters in power and corridor of power for 12 years was just the tarring of Ada-Igbajo Road. Such a project cannot be credited to just a person(Famodun) because Igbajo was blessed with about 11 political appointees in the last administration according to my Egbon David Olufunsho Fagbohungbe Gfod . 

If Famodun and his APC sojourners had done better for the community and expanded their help and assistance to the sons and daughters of Igbajo that have zero affliction to their party, this would have spoken louder for him but perhaps he thought his then position as the Chairman of APC (then ruling party) will last forever. So he ignored helping his brothers and sisters.

This person in question is a friend to an acquaintance and an uncle to my secondary schoolmate. Whatever I have against Famodun and Oluomo Sunday Akere is beyond political views but their anti-development role. 

On the other hand, Oba Ademola Stephen Kayode Makinde, Onigemo1 wasn't perfect and he isn't as popular as Famodun in the state. I never knew him or heard his name until he was selected by the warrant chiefs. Excited about his profiles and achievements in the financial and oil sector I connected with him and congratulated him. The only thing that made him different from Famodun is that he is said to help the sons and daughters of the community without any condition.

My take about this whole thing is that wherever or whatever position you are or you find yourself in, ensure you genuinely help. No one is a winner or loser, it's a fight for the development of Igbajo. And I charge the New Owa of Igbajo, Oba Ademola Stephen Kayode Makinde, Onigemo 1 to follow the words of Olosun of Osun, Governor Ademola Adeleke and unite his subjects. This is not a time for vindictivity but a time for serious development. It is my prayer that he lives long on this throne and that may his leadership bring advancement, growth, and development into the town and the lives of his people
