Ali Ahmad, Yusuf Ali, S.O Muhammed Honoured at Unilorin Liberty Chamber’s Public Lecture & Magazine Launch

Liberty Chambers is an organization in the Faculty of Law, university of Ilorin.  One of four in the Faculty, the chambers has consistently distinguished itself as the trend setting one, with its innovative programmes on scales never before attempted by any other Chambers.
Last year, the Chambers organized its first annual public lecture and magazine launch, with tremendous success.

The most vent was attended by the creme de la creme of the legal world in Kwara state, from prominent lawyers to judges and justices from various courts.

The magazine launched was a spectacular one, as it was filled with immensely educative and enlightening articles that would benefit law students and even those in other disciplines.
This year, the Chambers intends to outdo its previous successes with an event even grander than the one from last year.

The Public Lecture this year is in honour of Rt. Hon.Ali Ahmad, the speaker of the Kwara state house of Assembly, with the guest lecturer being no other than the erudite Mallam. YusufAli, SAN. In the same vein, the chairman of the occasion is Justice S. O. Mohammed, Grand Khadi of the Sharia court of appeal, Kwara state.

These eminent personalities are indicative of the calibre of personalities expected to grace the event.The topic of the lecture is "fulfilling the Nigeria project, the role of the lawmakers, legal practitioners and citizens". Obviously, this is a topic that was chosen to appeal to the generality of students and the public at large, as long as one is concerned about the success of our motherland, Nigeria.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday the 25th of November, 2015 at the faculty of Law Lecture theatre, and students are advised to come early, so as to be able to secure a seat.  It will be the best public lecture you have ever attended, promises Adekunbi Ademola, the Lord Advocate of the Chambers.
